Source:author Author:admin Click:941 Time: 2012-06-21

Built in 1734, Dragon Pavilion measures 26.7 m in height. Surrounded by 8 waiting rooms, palace wall, propylaeum and long corridor, Dragon Pavilion looks majestic and imposing, especially viewing from the first step (there are 72 in all, decorated with dragons and clouds) leading to the top of the terrace. Seated on the ruins of the Forbidden City of the Northern Song Dynasty and the Mansion of a prince in Ming Dynasty, Dragon Pavilion offers a panoramic view of elegant lakes and gardens nearby.
